Swift nest boxes.
These two nest boxes were made in the greenhouse by Derek and Steve, in March 2022, and are about to be varnished.
The Swifts normally arrive every April from Africa. So the plan is to build as many boxes as we can, attach them to the eaves of buildings and homes around Swanage, to hopefully establish a larger breeding colony than what it is at present.
