Who is it for ?

Greengage is open to all.

We will always welcome new people to join us as we move forward.

Our dedicated volunteers who come to Greengage, come for a number of reasons. Some prefer to work outside on the plots, whilst others like being involved in the various jobs within the greenhouse, but we always work as a team.

Whether you have a skill, want to learn something new, we would love you to come alon

A range of gardening activities, from seed sowing in the large greenhouse to cultivating the plots.

No experience needed - just come along and be welcomed. 

We hope to develop a nursery for the propagation of trees, and to create an area for the pursuit of various crafts.

We are planning a new building on the site for socialising.

We hope that we will become an important resource for Swanage, given people a chance to come along and do as much or as little as they want.

 We also provide horticultural advice.

Anyone can come into the garden and pick their own flowers or produce to take home, leaving a donation if you can.
